Mitr Inn Mrt Samyot Station - The Grand Palace

Pros: Super nice host and his wife! The hotel is so clean, easy self check in)

Pros: Great location, quite street, spacious room, very friendly staff.

Cons: Some towels were worn, cleanness and equipment (tv, shower etc can be improved.

very good stay in a quiet area near attractions

Pros: The location was great - very nice area, and quiet. The room was clean and spacious and comfortable. The host was responsive and helpful and allowed us to keep our bags there for a few hours after checkout as we had a later flight.

Cons: The wifi didn't work very well.

Lovely place, charming neighborhood

Pros: This is a lovely little no frills 'mom and pop shop' hotel in a charming neighborhood. I loved staying here. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. Extremely quiet neighborhood and great AC for an excellent night's sleep. The bed is firm but still comfy to sleep on and I normally don't like firm mattresses at all. Really, this is a great place at a great price. If you are used to SEA or want a nicely priced place in a neat neighborhood, you'll appreciate this place. I will definitely stay here again and again.

Cons: The bathroom sink does need to be attached better to the wall but didn't have any problems with it or anything else.

Very nice stay in confortable well located appartment

Pros: The palace is week located near blue line. The owners are very nice and welcoming, and helpful. The room and bed were clean and comfortable

Cons: I ordered a tour to see floating market that was globally good but I was irritated to not have exactly what I ordered.the floating market is not at all what is displayed at the entrance where you see all sellers in boats. We were brought to 1h tour that looked like more tourist trap. The tour consisted is stopping in every shop on the river with very expensive prices. When I mentioned to the tour The tour guide that is not what we were supposed to see, he said: that is what the owner required me to do. I said to the owner that just apologized.

Clean n comfy

Pros: Everything is nice. you can even ask for laundry. the host is really kind & helpful. the wifi is kinda on and off.

Cons: when i first came, somehow the keycode to colleck the room key doesnt work for the first 10 times. so i was waiting outside trying to contact the person inside. but it was midnight, i came arond 11.30 P.M (i understand he might be sleeping). and somehow at the 12th try, the key locker accepted the keycode given. The wifi is good, but it often shows \

Basic central accomodation

Pros: Cheap and close to the main attractions. The staff was helpful with the luggage storage and they let us some long pants to access the temples.

Cons: The mattress was very hard. The drainer in the shower didn't work properly. It's located in an alley not very easy to find.

Pros: The apartment and its location was good. It was also clean.

Cons: We had problems wirh the keycard, it didn't work, this was a nuisance.

Excellent Location

Pros: Excellent location 10/10: - walking distance to many tourist attractions i.e. Grand Palace, National Museum, Wat Ratchabophit, Giant Swing etc - Many restaurants and cafe nearby. Trok Mor morning market is only <5mins walk - 15mins walk to Khao San Road - 10 minutes bus/tuktuk ride to Chinatown Yaowarat - Nearby to MRT Samyot and Panfa Leelard Boat Pier Bed was comfortable & clean and aircond is cold. Hair dryer is provided Shower water pressure is great

Cons: If you are a light sleeper, not recommended to stay as it is not soundproof During my stay, there was other guest checking in at about 4am, creating some noises outside from footsteps and luggages Next night at 5am, guest who was staying above us vomited like there is no tomorrow in their toilet
