Enjoyable stay

Pros: Checkin was very easy. We booked the family room for just 2 of us and it was very cheap with heaps of room. The air conditioning worked very well. In a central location around many local markets. Would definitely stay here again when we come back

Cons: No front desk/ staff member which was a little odd but not too bad. We booked thinking we would have a private bathroom but this was out in the hall way and easily could be shared by other guests

Very nice hostel, with good location. The staff are wonderful. They are always helping and answers quickly.

Pros: A good hostel with a very convenient location for transportation - the MRT station and ferry pier are just a few minutes away. While there aren’t any bars or spots for evening parties nearby, which might be a downside, there’s a vibrant market that’s perfect for street photography enthusiasts. If that’s your thing, this place is ideal. The beds have thick curtains that effectively block out light, and the lockers are spacious enough for your belongings. The room was cleaned daily, even when I was the only guest staying there. Overall, the staff were very friendly and approachable. Still, I think this was a great choice, and I’ll probably stay here again.

Cons: On the downside, some beds are located right next to the windows, which, unfortunately, don’t have curtains. Another minor inconvenience was the absence of toilet paper, which seemed like a deliberate choice.

Pros: location is good, bedroom and bathroom were clean when we first arrived, check in process was smooth and fairly easy

Cons: the last day of our stay, we found puddles of pee in the bathroom :(
