Norn Yaowarat Hotel

Center China town stay in comfortable hotel.

Pros: The split level makes it feel like you have a little personal time when the kids are asleep. There is daily cleaning (upon request with a door handle). The location is straight in the middle of China Town, near Yoawarat road. Back alleys are incredible. Staff is nice and attentive, but English is basic (for other then the usual questions). We didn’t hear ANY other guest, while we are in the room quite early.

Cons: The included breakfast was too little to be enough. There are baked instant noodles and white sandwiches baked in egg with jam.

Pros: bed really comfy, friendly staff, well equipped room. willing to come back again.

Cons: A strong urine smell in the bathroom, not sure is from the drain or something else, keeping spraying perfume during the stay.

Pros: Right in the heart of Chinatown, around the corner from the mall. We booked the double room with private bathroom and it was really good value for money. Hot shower with good pressure. The room is small but if you're looking for just a basic room and bed close to everything in chinatown then it's perfect. Staff were really nice and helpful, offered us recommendations on sights to see and activities to do. It's a really chill hostel so no partying or loud noise so you can definitely get some sleep. They have a common room with balcony, pool table, fridges and clean filtered water. Thank you Highly recommend

Excellent Location for Family Travellers

Pros: Perfect location which is walking distance to the train station and also located in the main area of the Yaowarat. There are a lot of eatery and also convenient store nearby. This room can accommodate my family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children).

Cons: the room is a bit small, other than the bed, not much space to move around. The staircase is steep and no elevator.

Very good for travelers with a limited budget.

Pros: The location was great and against all expectations, the dorm was very quiet. The bathroom was very clean. The staff was very friendly as well and was happy to help at all times.

Cons: The air condition in the common room was turned of all day and the windows were opened, so the room was very warm.

Perfect staff for the perfect location

Pros: The staff: quiet but super helpful and kind. The location is amazing.

Cons: Is not perfect. But if you complain about the stairs or the breakfast is because you didn’t do your homework. Read the reviews.

Great place

Pros: Great and friendly staff. The facilities are very clean and well equipped. We liked the common spaces very much. The location is great, the middle of busy Chinatown, still very quiet though.

Pros: The location of the hotel is fantastic! Close to all the food and MRT / bus stop is only 5 mins away. It’s easy to go any where however since we visited during Chinese new year so the traffic was terrible. Nevertheless we’d stay there again. The staffs were all so amazing! Very helpful and friendly.

Cons: The beds were quite hard and the pillows were thick, suited for side sleepers.

Joyful, comfortable and well located.

Pros: Staff were so helpful and friendly. We arrived early into Bangkok, made our way directly to the hotel to be greeted by a friendly door man, and were given access to our room immediately. We were immensely grateful for this because with extensive travelling we were short of sleep. Otherwise we loved the room with its loft area, contemporary and clean, crisp sheets and such a super location. Chinatown comes alive at night but wasn’t too noisy. Would definitely stay again. Solo travellers should confided the hostel bed option … they looked super private and comfy.

Pros: We have standard double room. Everything was clean and tidy, room was small but I think for couple was more than enough. Staff was really nice and helpful. At night was quiet. Definitely I can recommend this place!
