Nice

Pros: Nice rooms could control air conditioning so was nice have a nice rooftop to sit for a bit very comfy bed late check in was good

Cons: The workers leave at 8 for check in even tho it says 11 on here but I had no issue arriving at 10 a little walk away from things but still good location

Nice and comfortable

Pros: Staff super nice and available, clean spaces, kitchen, iron, laundry, rooftop, position top, super quiet at night, they have all the services you look for.

What I was looking for, basic, clean, friendly. What you pay for what you get.

Pros: The Pan Pan hostel is a very essential hostel, no bells and whistles, you get exactly what you need, a safe bed in a clean environment in the city center. The lady of the staff was very friendly and helpful and you have free coffee. This place was exactly what I was looking for as a single traveller on a shoestring budget. Would come back.

Cons: I'd do something to liven up very the squalid looking rooms, a print, or some colour, or both, would do magic, and it wouldn't take much effort.

Comfortable, clean and great for a short affordable stay

Pros: Overall the room was comfortable and had a good location for a short stay in Bangkok. The hostel was super clean and had everything you needed. Shower was hot and powerful. Air con was perfect. 7 eleven across the road and other shops/restaurants nearby.

Cons: Shower fixture meant you had to hold the head otherwise it shot out across the bathroom. No lift which is fine but worth being aware of. No fridge in room but shared one downstairs.

Pros: Clean and quiet place! Free laundry (3 pcs/person/day) was great surprise. There's terrace upstairs.

Pros: The hostel is very clean, and the room/bed was very comfortable. They provide coffee and tea free of charge. The location is alright, but it's not my favorite part of Bangkok.

Cons: We left our luggage for a few hours after check out. When we came back, there was nobody at the reception desk. We had to wait for the staff for about half an hour. Other than that, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Peaceful and Clean

Pros: It was a calm and quiet spot, very close to good food and street markets. The hostel is well cared for with a cute kitchen upstairs with rooftop area overlooking the city. There's a nice place downstairs to have tea and read a book too. Lovely and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay!

A great place to stay and I would definitely return.

Pros: The location was absolutely fantastic and with Silom being my favourite district in Bangkok the Pan Pan hostel is situated perfectly. Free tea and coffee for guests is an added bonus in the reception area. The immediate area is full of nice cafes and convenience stores' and a 3 minute walk and you're onto Silom road. There are also easy connections on the MRT within walking distance at St.louis station.

Cons: Every day there is a huge pile of smelly rubbish at the entrance of the lane to Pan Pan hostel and there is also a very strong smell of cat urine in the area outside. Whilst the hostel does its best to accommodate all guests it needs to be clearly written in Chinese that you cannot do your laundry in the communal hand basins and wash dirty shoes in an area meant for personal hygiene! The drains in the shower room also smelt very strong in the morning.
