Good experince

Pros: Good accommodation , we booked as family , good bed good shower tub , good air condition.

Quirky fun and fabulous

Pros: Located in a quiet alley with a lived in local feel. Great to immerse yourself in thai city culture. Close to 7-11, street stalls, local shops, river, buses. Fabulous quirky decor, clean, local family feel and so welcoming. The staff are wonderful, really helpful and friendly. 2 cats and a nice spot to sit with a coffee at the entry to watch daily life passing by. Top room has a open air bathroom .. so you can see the stars when you shower/bath..superb. Excellent shower Shared microwave handy

Cons: The double mattress in the top room is a little hard.. normal in thailand. There is 2 single mattreses which are softer so we just swapped them over.

Pros: Very clean facilities, clean toilets and showers. Large beds that are a little bit hard, but comfortable. Nice owner and two amazing cats in the lobby.

Cons: I don’t have anything negative to say at all.

Pros: Beds have a good size for westerners - not that common in Asia.

Best hospitality

Pros: I had the most wonderful stay at 89 Bed & Studio! The staff are genuinely caring and go above and beyond to make sure guests feel safe and comfortable. As a female solo traveler, I felt truly protected and looked after throughout my stay. The hostel is also in a fantastic location, just steps from the bus stop and surrounded by charming local eateries that are worth trying. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!

Perfect small hostel to explore the city

Pros: Cosy bed, friendly staff and everything was clean.

Charming and friendly Hostel with so much delightful features that it is worth a stay.

Pros: I liked the staff - owner & family were friendly, generous & helpful.I enjoyed the comfort of the beds, the coziness of the place, as I felt at home , the cleanliness & hygienic practices in place. The showers were awesome - excellent water pressure & warm to hot water depending on your requirements. Decent toilets in all aspects. The location initially seems out of the way, but as you stay here you realize just how great the location actually is with access too so much and easy to get buses everywhere, boats up and down the river, the BTS is 20 minutes walk away ( 6 minutes drive). The area is charming with local flavour and good value rates to shop & eat everywhere. Asiatique is 8 minutes walk from Hostel. The cat was good company too. The general atmosphere and other guests made it an absolute delight to stay at. I wish the owners much success.

Cons: Nothing really, just that there is no fridge currently to fet your stuff cold or fresh, but it is coming I have been told.

Gem of a hostel in BKK

Pros: Host was amazing and made the place very homely by interacting with the guests, along with the resident cat Suphachok!!! The decor was very cozy with many areas to hang and chat with other travellers. Very interesting to learn that the decor and layout was all designed by the host himself, and demonstrates the hostel host's passion. The location of the hostel is an absolute gem, being near to the pier so you can take a boat quickly to go to places like iconsiam/Wat Arun, or take a local bus mini1 (quite frequent) to Chinatown or the palace area quickly to see the main attractions. Asiatique is also within walking distance. Importantly, behind the hostel on street 85 there is a very local market selling affordable and delicious street food. Overall, a great location for people looking for long or short stays due to its great price and location. Also learned that there are rooms for bigger groups which make it a great choice for group travellers too.

Cons: Cleanliness was generally good but could have been cleaned more regularly. Room needs more sockets. Slightly far from BTS station.

Pros: This property is everything you want for what you're paying. Safe and secure, good facilities with showers/bathrooms, great location!! The hosts family prepare the best local foods at the end of the street and they are the most lovely and welcoming people. They even have a very cute and naughty cat that wonders about the place called (Supachok) just 15min walk from the train station you can access everywhere in Bangkok. Namphu and Oum deserve to do well, please book it up if you need accommodation in Bangkok. We now consider them friends and we know they will be successful. Very humble guys and they go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be.. thanks for everything
