Pros: Traditional and family feel to the home (which has been in the family for 4 generations!), laid back, quick taxi to the centre and we had some great food!

Cons: All perfect!

Pros: We had a great stay. We stayed on the lower floor on the canal. The building is a beautiful heritage site. We didn't want to leave. The owners and staff are very nice and helpful.

Cons: It is a little out of the way , but we knew that when we booked it.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated in an authentic Thai style very stylish, with clear attention to detail and a lot of soul put into it. We especially loved the homemade breakfast, it felt warm and personal. It can be a bit noisy in the mornings, but we were informed about this in advance, so we were prepared and it didn’t come as a surprise.

Cons: As a small suggestion, it would be great to have a coffee machine available for breakfast. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we would happily stay here again.

Pros: Had a wonderful stay at this charming and rustic homestay by the river. The place has so much character; creaky wooden floors, vintage furniture, and a cozy vibes that makes you feel right at home. The quiet district was perfect for unwinding, with only the sounds of boats ferrying locals along of the river. You get the occasional loud barks from the dogs though 😆. Host was super responsive and helpful. The home-cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious. It felt like waking up in a countryside retreat, far from the city rush. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with authentic charm and warm hospitality, this is the place to be.

Gorgeous Thai home stay

Pros: This is an absolutely gorgeous Thai home stay, situated right on the river! The owners are very attentive and made us traditional Thai breakfast each day. The room is very spacious and has good facilities, with air con and shampoo and soap in the shower. The owner also provided ear plugs as the river can be quite noisy with boats. If you are a light sleeper, I would also bring an eye mask as can be quite bright in the morning which we didn’t mind. Also, there is a very cute dog call Steve. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Proper Thai culture in the heart of Bangkok

Pros: An experience of proper Thai culture during our stay with this beautiful family. We felt very welcome here, and the place was clean and very well looked after. The building is beautiful and the location is right on the river in a peaceful location. We loved the Thai breakfast in the morning. Such a gem!

Pros: My husband and I loved our stay at Bannai Bangkoknoi. The hosts were so welcoming and explained everything to us. We were served a lovely thai breakfast and met Steve the corgi. I would definitely come back to stay if i’m ever in Thailand again. The home is absolutely stunning and our room was by the river. Just a side note, the boats passing by on the river make a fair bit of noise but it was no issue for us getting to sleep. Thanks again!

Pros: The location was perfect and the view was amazing. This was a beautiful place to stay- from the stunning traditional interior to the feeling that you are right on the water, everything about this property just makes me want to come back. All the staff and family were so lovely and welcoming and the breakfast was incredible.
