Chest's Place

Pros: You are near the centrum of Bangkok but in another world, the quietness of that place is mind blowing! The owner is one of the kindest soul we ever met, he give us advice and tell us story about a bunch of stuff, making our staying even better than what we expected!!

Pros: I like the location a loooot. It's like oasis of peace in a busy Bangkok. I loved the filling I am actually in someone's house ;) It was clean and very good value for the money

Hidden gem

Pros: Beautiful quirky place to stay. Lovely old teak building full of curiosities. Fabulous location. Very friendly, relaxed ambience. Lots of delightful flowering plants.

Pros: Chest is amazing guy! Hotel is in his house, absolutely insane local old vibe. If you want luxury hotel with air conditioning then skip it. But if you want to meet local culture, then its the best thing to do. We will definitely come back here

Pros: The property was really nice and super clean. It has a wonderful charm and I would really recommend it anytime. Moreover the host of Chest‘s Place was super nice and helpful.

Pros: As a neurodivergent solo traveller I must say that this is the place have felt most at home and most comfortable beeing just myself as a weird person all alone in the world and so far from my true home, this place just kind of reminded me a bit about it and made me feel at home here even if it was only for a day I am very happy to have visited the place and I hope to come back one day. For a certain types of traveller this is one of those pearls you have to look long and hard for. I was very thankfull for my day there and the people I got to meet and I hope to be back someday

Night in a film

Pros: It's like you are staying in a museum. Very quirky, decorated with lots of care. The place has a unique vibe.

We really liked staying here, would definitely recommend!

Pros: The owner is really nice, the place is very clean and the location is really good! There are living areas to hang out in, all guests were really nice to talk to but you also have your own private space.

Cons: The rooms are not very sound proof, so you have to be very quiet when you come home late. But we didn’t have any bad experiences.

Pros: Good people, good and affordable place! Bananas all day, everyday :)

Cons: Culd be a little bit more clean (shared bathroom) :) It would be good to have coffee and tea for free
