A great place to stay in Bangkok with a superb host

Pros: The location is perfect for visiting Bangkok’s main attractions, The Grand Palace and Wat Pho are in walking distance. Easy to walk to the MTR and the river for boat transport. The trip was made memorable by the amazing service provided by Effie. We were treated to free soft drinks and nibbles in our room and a free beer on our first visit to the bar. She brought us a plate of delicious fresh pineapple to our room. Effie and her team couldn’t have been better, even did a load of laundry for us at no cost. She is a lovely, kind lady, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Effie

Recommended!

Pros: Excellent staff - very sociable and helpful. Friendly barwith pool table downstairs - my room was above it but I had no trouble with noise (though I am a bit hard of hearing) . Room was spacious and had a kettle and fridge. Location is within walking distance of the Royal Palace.

A must-visit!

Pros: The service staff were very friendly and very accommodating. There is a bar on the ground floor that is regularly well frequented. In addition, the hotel has good connections to several places worth seeing. Definitely worth a visit!

Little gem

Pros: Great size room above the bar. Clean with all the facilities you need. Perfect location for the grand palace etc. The best hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Had a great night in the tiki bar below the night before, the locals are so welcoming.

The vibe is modern and relaxed, making it a great spot to recharge after busy days of sightseeing. Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff round out the experience. For anyone wanting to stay central without sacrificing style or convenience, Motu Bangkok hits the mark perfectly.

Nice stay in the centre

Pros: Nice location, very clean. Friendly staff. We enjoyed every moment. This room is above the bar, but there is no disturbance. Our host Effie helped us with the taxi to the airport and recommended places to visit.

The feeling that I was at home

Pros: Excellent location. Main attractions within walking distance. Nearby is a pier from which you can get to other parts of the city by river. The hotel is very cozy, there is everything for a comfortable stay. the staff is ready to help at any time. and the owner Effie is just a huge loving heart.

Cons: Nano towels don't absorb at all.

Pros: The location is perfect for tourists exploring the old town and river front area; we loved the downstairs tiki bar and could tell it was a local hidden gem

Cons: There was some noise at night, but ear plugs easily took care of that

Pros: The room is spacious, comfy and with perfect privacy. Great location yet quiet enough for even elderly (in this case my 70+yr old mom) to rest and sleep well.

Pros: Personnel très sympathique et emplacement top pour visiter le grand palais et grand temple.

Cons: C'est Bangkok donc c'est toujours un peu bruyant (double vitrage absent)
