Home from home

Pros: The room was very attractive - more like a room in someone's house than a hotel room. Breakfast was not provided, but there was an excellent kitchen area, so you could make your own breakfast and even other meals. It's in a residential area with a large shopping mall and plenty of shops within walking distance. I will certainly stay there again if I go back to Bangkok.

Cons: It's a 20 minute walk to the train station. I chose it because it was near my son's apartment, but many people might prefer something more central.

Good stay but shame about noisy AC

Pros: Interesting place to stay and they certainly have done a lot to get this to a kind of 5 star 'boutique' experience. It's essentially a large residential house converted into different rooms. I stayed in the 'junior sweet with balcony'. The room was comfy and good overall, however I had one major bugbear which was the AC unit. It was one of those old 'built' in ones and it was very loud, even on the lowest setting. I had to use earplugs to sleep. Further, it blows directly onto your head so I had to switch ends of the bed so my feet were at the headrest. Perhaps some people wouldn't be bothered by this but for me the noise and air stream were problems. The staff was very polite and attentive. The area is a kind residential area but close to shops and the True Digital Park. Overall a good stay, just for me they'd have to address the AC issue for it to have lived up to my expectations.

Cons: As above, very noisy/strong AC unit.

Lovely guest house, very well presented.

Pros: Really well done guest house. The owner is very helpful and response and sorted out a small issue I had very quickly. Rooms are lovely and spacious. Very comfy bed and great pillows. Lots of hot water. Short walk out of the compound to shops and 7-11 etc. about 10 mins walk to BTS.

Cons: It is quite a way out of the so make sure that works for you.

Pros: Clean, quiet, good price, good bed, good location (close to mall, BTS, 7-11, lots of restaurants), good security, great bathroom, owner responded to requests quickly.

Cons: Could have used a desk in the room for working from my laptop, although there was space that would have worked fine in the commons. But the True Digital mall nearby had quiet, free workspace with a lot of amenities.

Pros: I had such a good time at the Maneeya Park Residence. The pretty Residence was located in a nice district with everything you need nearby. David was a great Host he provided me with everything i needed, i wasn‘t missing anything and i would definetely come back. All in all a 10 out of 10

Pros: Charming place, very peacefull, in contrast to the noise of the big city. We found it very relaxing. The hosts are also great, in communication, as persons, in helping us. Everything was great. Position also very good - close (35 min in time) to airport due to not having traffic jams in that direction and easy to get to the center with big malls due to BTS station very convenient. We would definetily come again when returning to Bangkok.

Cons: Everything was great. We are very happy with the choice.

Great place if you like peace and quiet

Pros: Very quiet, away from any traffic, every thing you needed was there. Bed very comfortable. Little shop few yards down road, and 7-11 store not far away. Helpful staff

AMAZING

Pros: it was so clean and felt very secure. the host was also lovely and super helpful. a short 15 minute walk to the train which was a massive bonus. owner was very quick to respond and super accomodating, would absolutely stay here again

Great stay outside the center of Bangkok

Pros: Great quiet stay in Bangkok. Quiet residential location close to sukhumvit and lots of restaurants/shops nearby.

Cons: The AC is very loud. I could hear it even with earplugs. I'm a light sleeper so it was a bit annoying.
