Lumen Bangkok Udomsuk Station

Great modern hotel with an awesome location

Pros: Modern, Chinese hotel, right at one of the metro stations, near malls, and a great food court just a short walk away, as well as other shops and restaurants. Great location. The rooms were clean and modern, albeit on the small side, but adequate. We enjoyed the swimming pool on the rooftop. The staff were all great and so helpful. The breakfast was great - a nice buffet.

Cons: Although rooms are sound proofed for the outside noise, the corridors inside were a little noisy. Breakfast is held in the foyer - although that's ok, you have people checking in or checking out while trying to get your food and find a seat. It is a little awkward.

Pros: Hotel reception was always friendly and helpful. Love that the hotel is situated at the railway so easy to move around. Great rooms and bathrooms. And the rooms have windows for some fresh air. Breakfast was very good. Rooftop pool was good to chill at and could experience the sunset from the pool. Pool towels available as well.

Thanks to the helpful staff, excellent location next to Udomsuk BTS, and relaxing rooftop bar, we had a wonderful stay.

Pros: The staff are very kind and helpful. We requested a quiet room and a parking space, and both were provided. A major highlight is the property’s location next to Udomsuk BTS station, which is fantastic. All of this made us really enjoy our stay. After each day of sightseeing in Bangkok, we loved spending our evenings at the hotel’s rooftop bar to wind down.

Cons: Just a friendly recommendation: the bathrooms could be cleaned more thoroughly, as there was some dust on the walls, beside the mirror, and on the floor, as well as a few mold spots in the shower area. Aside from that, I would rate it 10/10.

Pros: Clean hotel with lovely roof top bar. Staff helpful and very pleasant 😊

Cons: Was a little bit out of the centre but easily accessible by taxi at roughly £7 a trip.

Pros: The location in front of BTS was very convenient. Rooms were nice and clean.

Cons: Breakfast is bad and for us it was a waste of money, no choices for westeners. Beds could be softer.

Cons: It's a bit far from Bangkok's center, took 25 min to get there by train. But it's ok,

Good location to start exploring Bangkok or going to expositions at Bitec. Great value for money.

Pros: Hotel is at a convenient location just next to the Udom Suk BTS station, with connections to the city center. Check-in went smooth and staff was friendly but little experienced, so it took a bit of time. Rooms and public areas were very clean. Breakfast was good, with enough choices. Rooftop bar is nice to spend some time, have a drink or take a dip in the (small) pool.

Cons: Room was quite small and had a view on the backsides of the neighboring houses, but the promised quite room it was.

Cons: Access to property no drive up to it but not very far to walk The area hasn’t many restaurants etc… hence easy access to the sky train to travel for dinner that was fine doesn’t take long to get to Asok or Nana
