Baan Wanglang Riverside

Our second time at this hotel because definitely our favorite in Bangkok. Everything especially the location is perfect

Pros: The location is wonderful, with the market on the doorstep and the river just outside. The staff are very helpful especially Nancy and Oum on reception and Coke who drove us in the hotel buggy. The restaurants have the most amazing view of the river.

We will be back!

Pros: Exceptional boutique hotel right in market area. Clean room with very comfortable bed and linens plus tiny balcony with view of river. Restaurant surprisingly good for breakfast and reasonably priced. Roof bar very nice but quite pricey too.

Cons: I didn't mind this, but it is a walk in from where taxi let's you off as it is narrow market alleyway. If you contact hotel they will pick you up in golf cart. Also no pool, but that was fine and expected.

Brilliant hotel with wonderful staff

Pros: View from our room was right over the Chao Phraya river - stunning - particularly at night with the lights across the river and on all the boats. The staff really were amazing - so helpful and generous - particularly Taew in reception, and Coke who drove us to our taxi and made sure the driver knew where we needed to go. Breakfast was very good and the hotel has a bar beside the river and a café.

Cons: Don't let what I'm about to say put you off going here - our stay here was wonderful! We would have given this a hotel a 10 - except for it's accessibility to and from the airport - if you have suitcases it's best to get a taxi (although it will not be able to take you right to the door - not to worry though - the hotel's a 2 minute walk from the drop off point and the staff are more than eager to help!) Once you are ensconced in the hotel things are more easy to access as the ferry is a 2 minute walk away which takes you to all the main attractions - BE WARNED - last ferry is at 9PM!!!! We almost missed it!

Pros: Staff were very friendly yet efficient. Shuttle to the main road was useful. Very nice room.

Cons: Rooftop bar could be more reasonably priced with service to match the hotel. Beds overly firm.

Enjoyable

Pros: Was a great stay in Bangkok, room had everything you needed and was a comfortable stay. Reception staff were friendly and gave you a welcome drink.

Cons: Staff were a bit rude at the rooftop bar when we walked in at 10:45pm even though the sign said was open till 12am, nearly turned us away before letting us have a quick drink… I would stay at the bar at the bottom near the cafe as they’re super friendly :)

Pros: Wonderful staff and location by the Riverside. Wonderful market outside the door. We brought breakfast at the hotel Restaurant and it was a good selection to choose from the meny and tasted great. Good food at the rooftop restaurant.

Pros: lovely traditional style hotel nicely situated on River nice views. Good bar and restaurant. staff extremely helpful always smiling

Cons: Little bit isolated from rest of Bangkok

Pros: Great location. Right in the heart of a very cool market with delicious eats. The staff was amazing!

A pleasant little place close to river transport and nearby bars and restaurants

Pros: Clean and pleasant room with a great shower. I love this little area with its warren of alleyways with tiny market stalls and riverside bars and restaurants - it’s close to the river taxi too. Staff are alway pleasant and helpful
