Poonsuk Place Hotel

Pros: The staff were helpful & friendly. The room towards the back of the hotel was clean & quiet enough for a good night sleep. The food in the restaurant was great.

Cons: The shower was good but in a rather cramped position in the bathroom.

Nice

Pros: Nice hotel in area where are more famous temples, many you can reach by cheap water ferries. Area is quiet, also not so many eating options nearby. But we have to recomend one vegan, called Mahanakhon in walking distance. Among best meals ever and we are not vegetarian or vegan. We didn't try food in the hotel, so we cannot rate it. Room was nice and bed was comfortable.

Cons: Maybe location, but on the other hand, it was the reason we found that good restaurant.

I recommend this hotel. Very nice staff, pretty cafe at the lobby, and very spacious and clean room.

Pros: The staff were really nice and helpful. The room was very clean and I loved that they give you water and coffee the morning.

Cons: On the side of the road it’s very very noisy.

Great stay

Pros: Although the porter didn’t speak English we could communicate with him through an app. There was no one at the reception first but he helped to get our keys - we arrived ad 11:30pm only.

Pros: It was a great place to stay. The main sights were very close, and the staff were the best – very friendly and helpful. They even let us leave our luggage at the reception, so we could enjoy walking around the city a bit longer

Evearything you need for a stay

Pros: Hotel is clean and has everything you need for a stay. The Wat Arun temple is just 10 minuts walk away. There are good litle restaurants in the neighbourhood, the supermarket is 100 meters away.

Basic, but very convenient, excellent value for money!

Pros: Easy to find and check in, kind and welcoming staff (though they didn't speak English). Good location for exploring the city. Many stores and different dining options nearby. Basic room, but clean and well equipped. Small fridge, air condition, small terrace.

Cons: No elevator and 20 minutes from the metro line, which is not good when you have heavy suitcases. Just to mention, was not a problem at all.

A perfect quiet place for good price in busy Bangkok.

Pros: I got a quite, super tidy big beautiful room. There was a fridge and a kettle. Everything was perfect. Therefore I chose to stay more days than planned and come back again.

Cons: On weekdays there was an Alarmsignal every hour to hear from the neighborhood. In Europe it’s the sound of bell , so I am used to it. The night hours it was quiet.
