Great place to stay with bad internet

Pros: It was very local, so you can get really good and affordable food in the area. There are a few western breakfast restaurants nearby. There's a BTS station very close by. Plus the beds are comfortable and the staff super nice.

Cons: The internet is really bad. We wanted to get some work done but it looked like there was a signal blocker or something because the internet was on and off all the time.

Perfect budget option between Bangkok and airport

Pros: Perfect for on the way to/from airport. Friendly staff, nice local vibe in the neighbourhood, great little local food court over the road with pool table and beer, local cafes for cheap breakfast and juice. Comfy bed. Not noisy. We stayed on arriving in Bangkok, and will probably stay here again at the end of our visit. Room is a wee bit scruffy but clean and with fridge, TV, air-conditioning, hot water, kettle/coffee sachets, bottled water. We were really happy with our stay here

Cons: It is a bit far out of town. Near BTS but we needed a cab and it was a lo-o-ong wait for a Grab. Best book in advance.
