Royal Rattanakosin Hotel - Near Grand Palace & Khaosan Road

Stay there for the last 30 years and will keep on

Pros: Great historical hotel great location and the staff especially in the cafe are amazing

Cons: Little bit jaded

Pros: Great location. I have stayed many times. The hotel is a favourite of mine over 25 years of travelling to Thailand.

Old but still beautiful. Refurnished room. Good location & Good breakfast!

Pros: Old but still beautiful. The hotel’s hall made me feel like riding a timemachine to the gorgeous past of Bangkok. I’m really loveit! But the guest room is newly refurnished! Very comfy and full facilities! The breakfast is delicious! There is parking lot behind the hotel building. Very convenience.

Cons: If there was a handwash soap in the guest room, it would be best! And if you don’t like old place or vintage style. This hotel may made you feel uncomfortable.

Lovely rooms and a even better location.

Pros: Great rooms on the right side of reception, recommend paying the extra for the upgraded rooms. Staff brilliant and location superb.

Cons: Traffic can be a little noisy on the rooms close to the road but only a issue if got really bad jet lag and can’t sleep at night.

Pros: Very spacious rooms. Excellent super fast wifi. Friendly staff. I feel the reviews don't do justice to the hotel. It's a monumental building, big lobby, big rooms. You don't find this anymore in Bangkok. Also a prime location near King's Palace.

Decent stay at decent price

Pros: Big room, comfortable enough. Reception is efficient rather than welcoming but it's a busy place so understandable. breakfast was good. obviously a grand place in days gone by but it's showing it's age now. its a good price for a few nights in Bangkok and a great location for khaosan road and grand palace etc.

Will book this hotel on my next trip to Bangkok

Pros: Convenient, spacious for a family, staff are excellent and helpful

Pros: Value for money and good location. But swimming pool is very small and may be 3-4 feet in depth. So dont count swimming pool. Lift is very old.

Pros: Reception lady was loverly and helpful. Room was clean.

Pros: Great location and very friendly/helpful staff. The rooms are clean enough, the bedding changed every day, fresh towels are provided. Great value for money.

Cons: Could have been cleaner, but it's clean enough. The wifi was very spotty at times.
