Wonderful

Pros: Fantastic location; great breakfast buffet; 7/11 right downstairs; spacious rooms; staff were wonderful and prepared a birthday surprise.

Cons: Even though there were 4 lifts, they seem to be inefficient, and we often had to wait quite a bit.

Lovely hotel amongst the highrises of Bangkok.

Pros: Good location being close to the sky train and a large shopping mall. Lovely rooftop with bar, restaurant, pool and amazing view over Bangkok skyline. Comfortable beds, clean and quiet hotel room. Great breakfast. Would stay again.

Cons: The glass wall in the shower/bathroom to the rest of the hotel room was strange. At least there was a curtain to pull down.

Excellent location with a 7-11 on site!

Pros: Absolutely perfect location with food, shopping and massage parlours aplenty.

Cons: Our check-in was screwed up. We were a group of 23 people; none of our rooms were ready when we arrived. The hotel check-in time was 2 pm but we got our rooms at 4 pm. The check-in staff looked confused and unable to handle the situation.

Still my favourite hotel but needs a little improvement

Pros: Very friendly staff, close to the BTS Nice rooms, very quiet. 7-11 just outside the hotel. My favourite hotel in the Sukhumvit area.

Cons: They seem to be reducing the amount of sunbeds every year. 8 sunbeds for this hotel are just not enough. Why put tables and chairs during the day instead of sunbeds? Obviously to make it easier for themselves in the evening when sunbeds are removed for the bar/restaurant setup And breakfast has a good selection of Asian food, but cheese, ham, vegetables and even fruit or cereals and juices need a serious upgrade

Amazing stay

Pros: The stay at this hotel was amazing. Starting from the reception until the cleaning service. Everything was perfect, it was clean. The restaurant was amazing, a big compliment to the chef for the amazing food. All the staff working there, they work with passion. I will definitely come back to this hotel when I’m around Bangkok.

Cons: A lot of traffic in that area but that is not the hotel’s fault

Fantastic value for money

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Mercure Sukhumvit 24. The rooms were clean, modern, and offered a great view over the city. The breakfast selection was amazing, with plenty of options to choose from every morning. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk from the BTS and with a 7-Eleven conveniently downstairs. Overall, it’s a fantastic value for money, and we’d happily stay here again.

Close to BTS and mall.

Pros: Great location, 200m from BTS Phrom Phong, opposite Emporium and close vicinity to EmQuartier. There’s a 7-11 downstairs which is convenient. Staffs were nice and helpful. Room was clean and well scented. We also had a great city view from our room.

Cons: The gym was a bit small considering it isn’t a small hotel. Everything extra (eg laundry bag) is chargeable.
