Asoka Hotel at Asoke Makkasan

Great stay

Pros: A hidden gem of a hotel. Clean and simple aesthetics, with complimentary water, snacks, and a coffee machine downstairs. Wifi was fast and the rooms were QUIET. I thought we would have some noise given the location but my room faced an alleyway and as such was silent the whole night. Staff were lovely and on duty 24/7 so there was always help if you needed it. Oh, and the location...incredibly convenient to the Petchaburi MRT, airport rail link, and directly connected to a 7/11. I used the gym twice too when I stayed. Was equipped well enough for someone doing basic fitness.

Cons: There were one or two mosquitoes in my room. That was the only challenge.

Great hotel close to airport transport

Pros: Great new hotel with beautiful minimalist design, extremely comfortable bed and shower.

Cons: The hotel is located on a busy road, I was assigned to a room that proved to be too noisy and the team was amazingly efficient in changing my room on the next day.

Nice, comfortable hotel close to metro.

Pros: I spent some time choosing the right place to stay for 3 day trip in Bangkok. I booked this one for: - proximity to metro (5 min to nearest stop) - proximity to airport (only 39 mins by train) - overall cleanliness and comfortable beds (as we were exhausted after the flight) It is a little far away from the main tourist areas, but great nightlife and rooftop bars are only 1 metro stop away.

Cons: The hotel is new, but some furniture was already little weared down, I hope the hotel will keep up the good standard in the future.

Pros: Great location near to Petchaburi metro station. There's a 7-11 attached to the hotel also. Nice comfortable room great for a short stay with friendly and helpful staff.

Great if you need quick access to airport train

Pros: Nice room and bed. Good TV with Google TV for streaming. Good wifi. Close to airport train station Makkasan.

Cons: Sometimes cold or too hot shower.

Great Value - Many transportation options.

Pros: The location is great. There are many transport options for you to choose from: MRT, Airport Link & Cannel boat. The hotel might be small but they provide complimentary light snack & coffee at the lobby. Also there is the 7-11 at the building so quite convenient to get some food any time.

Cons: The room might be slightly simple & small but still good value for the money & location.

Great location, spacious room and great staff.

Pros: Staff were very welcoming and helpful. There was a 7-eleven in the same building, which made it very convenient. The room was big and clean.

Cons: Only thing was that the toilet ventilation system was rather weak, and the toilet had a perpetual damp smell.

Strategically located for a quick in and out from airport to city center

Pros: Perfect location, 3-4 minutes walk from the Makkasan Airport rail link station is a few minutes walk and the Phetchaburi MRT station. Very convenient for getting to the airport and 1 stop away from Sukhumvit

Cons: shower was not really warm and the pressure was low

Pros: Very comfortable beds and super clean and new! And so close to the public transport and airport link.

Pros: very nearly MRT,local train and hotel with coin wash meshing and an amazing 7-11 here.
