Sereine Sukhumvit 39

A comfortable stay at a great location.

Pros: I loved the location. It was walking distance from the BTS but far enough for it to be quiet and peaceful. The area nearby had plenty of places to try local food, spas, malls and even a night market! The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The hot water and water pressure were perfect! Extra bath mats and towels were freely available. The room included a hairdryer. There was a laundry service. The free WiFi worked well.

Cons: The bed linen was only changed upon request. Most hotels change it once in three days even without specifically being asked to do so. My room was on the ground floor and there was little to no natural light from the side door / windows. Although they had made an effort to create some privacy by growing plants between the patio and the walkway, people walking past could easily see into the room if the curtains were open. There was a sewage smell from the drains so it was impossible to open the door to get fresh air into the room. Overall, it wasn’t too much of a problem for me because I was hardly in the room. I was basically out all day and only returned to shower and sleep. However, for those who might wish to spend more time in the room, the limited access to fresh air and natural light could potentially be more of a problem.

Very much enjoyed my stay

Pros: I just loved its central location, quiet road and entrance to hotel. Lovely lady at the end of the street who sold us Pomelo, lovely cafes and residential buildings. Very near Phrom Phen transport and buses on main road, lots of shops and restaurants.

A good choice

Pros: Super friendly and helpful staff :) Good location, the big rooms are super nice and clean. (Floor 4) Good washing machine Next door coffeshop is very good as well. The fresh made coffee from Kenia is amazing

Pros: Great staff, good bed, clean room, quit neighbourhood, easy Acces to BTS. I Will return!

Pros: Front desk reception staff, I didn't catch his name, but he was very helpful and accommodating. Studio room spacious, clean, comfy. Location is great! Close to BTS, Emporium shopping mall, local entries, shops!

Cons: Swimming pool being situated outside by the entrance to the hotel. Not seculded. Only 1 key card, so all electrical items switch off when you leave the room, including the fridge freezer.

Very satifactory

Pros: It was a very convenient location.The rooms were cleaned Daily and the sheets changed every other day. We had a quiet room. There is a lift in the hotel. The reception staff were helpful and our deposit was returned in full. My friend wanted to extend his stay from the 60 day visa free period and the hotel provided him with the paper work to get a 30 days vias extension. I can't understand why their score is so low. In my case I think they deserve a 10.

Pros: Big room for one person, with separated bathroom, and small kitchen area with big fridge and microwave oven. Cleaned daily, the service was efficient. Far enough from main street to be peacuful, but only 5min walk to nearest train station that gives you easy access to interesting parts of the city.

Cons: The air condition device on the outside wall was to loud, making falling a sleep difficult. The electricity only works with a key card meaning that you cannot use the refridgerator since it will stop working when you go out. The water in the shower needs a long time to get warm.

Amazing value for money

Pros: Central location, easy for trains. Staff were lovely, very friendly snd helpful. Great facilities, room a little tired but value for money. The restaurant next door was excellent.

Great quite location close to everything.

Pros: My regular hotel in Bangkok. Slightly above other budget hotels in the area but much more comfortable. Location is great- just a short walk to the main road and in a nice quite side road. Lots of shops and restaurants around.

Cons: No onsite restaurant for lazy cravings.

A home away from home in Bangkok

Pros: I really loved my time at Sereine Sukhumvit 39 and would stay there again in a heartbeat. The lady at reception and all the other staff were very friendly and always said hello to me when I walked past. A special thank you as well to the cleaners, who were always polite and did a great job cleaning my room each day. The location of Sereine Sukhumvit 39 is fantastic. It’s only a 5–6 minute walk to Phrom Phong BTS and EmQuartier. There’s also a really nice café next door called Un Fashion Café which has great coffee and food. I truly hope I can stay at Sereine Sukhumvit 39 again in the near future.

Cons: Nothing I can think of.
