Baan Suandao Wat Arun

On a quite street.

Pros: The location was good. It was very close to Wat Arun and a Metro station. It was quiet and had a nice rooftop view. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The choices for eating were limited. The hotel has no real breakfast. There is a very nice breakfast place on Thanon Wang Doem Street called Sourdough Star.

Cons: We had a twin room with a private bath. The bathroom was down the hall, but it was for our exclusive use.

Amazing view on Wat Arun, clean rooms and great hospitality!

Pros: Had a wonderful stay! Located only five minutes by foot from Wat Arun, this homestay is a hidden gem. The rooms are clean, had all the necessary amenities and complementary snacks. There are two rooms who have their own bathrooms but they are outside the rooms which might be less convenient for some. You can go upstairs (there's no lift!) and enjoy the rooftop with an amazing view on Wat Arun and the surrounding neighborhood. Downstairs you'll find a cafe where also the reception is. There, you can get drinks and small snacks. If you want to stay in a less touristy area, experience Thai local vibes and wanna have a moneyshot on Wat Arun, I can you recommend this acommodation! On top of that, Sutachada (the host) is very friendly and helpful and provided the guests with small gifts to make their even more comfortable.

Cons: There's not much to complain. The only thing is that you can easily hear other guests roaming in the aisle.

Pros: We spent one night at this hotel, brilliantly located close to the magnificent Wat Arun. The staff is friendly and helpful, a delight to interact with. Our room was clean and relatively comfortable. The bathroom was private, yet outside the room, a few meters away. Good WiFi. There is no breakfast served per se, just tee, coffee and snacks; yet there are plenty of restaurant options available in the close vicinity. Overall a good value option in the area of the Wat Arun. We will definitely consider coming back again next time we are in Bangkok!

Pros: Super friendly and helpful host. Quiet area with beautiful neighborhood but still very central. We loved to stay here and will be back. Khop khun kha

Pros: Very clean, comfy beds, large rooms with aircon, fridge and ect.. great veiw of Wat Arun, Grand palace and more. Plenty of coffee, and water in the room. The lady running the homestay was very helpful with suggestions for sight seeing. Organised taxis and gave us a list of restaurants locally. Great value for money considering the location easy access to the Metro blue line too. I highly recommend this as a place to stay

Pros: Staff was very friendly. They provided all information we could possible need. Location is as superb as the photos promised.

Pros: Great place near Wat Arun. Caring owner that want to make your stay exceptional. Small and private, you fell at home.

Amazing place! Highly recommend

Pros: We loved our stay here! Would highly recommend. The service was absolutely amazing, the owner was so helpful and gave us loads of recommendations. It was very clean and the location was great. It's not in an overrally touristic area yet so close to all the temples and Chinatown.

Cons: We loved everything! Please note: Our room was on the 3rd floor with no lift. Not an issue for us but might be for some people

A gem in Bangkok!

Pros: The rooms were spotless and super comfy, we had complimentary water and snacks which was an unexpected treat! The owner was so friendly and helpful, she even gave us a jasmine flower reef to help us sleep, so lovely. The view of Wat Arun is crazy and not many people get to see it like that I’m sure. We’d 100% stay here again if we come back to Bangkok. Location was great, close to metro and restaurants. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Fantastic home stay

Pros: This little gem is a great place to stay We were greeted by the mother who is a lovely warm funny lady The daughter showed us everything we needed to know about the stay gave us great directions and recommended places to eat Came back to a lovely jasmine decoration on our door to help us sleep Only stayed one night but would 100% come back for longer It’s situated ideally for visiting all the temples in the area so a fantastic location to stay and visit
