Hi Sotel Victory Monument

overall it was worth staying at this hotel, the bed was especially nice

Pros: the hotel staff were friendly and let me keep my luggage before checking in and after checking out, there was free coffee seervice at the loby , they gave me two bottles of water everyday , also there was seven-eleven (convinience store) next door

Cons: location is a bit away from the main street, there was no elevator or escalator at victory monument station(nearest BTS station) so it was hard for me to carry one big suitcase all the way from hotel to the station, i needed to cross the crowded street ,which was dangerous

Clean, comfortable room and very helpful hotel staff at a reasonable price.

Pros: Breakfast was essentially coffee and biscuits, which was fine with us. The room was surprisingly spacious, the mattress was not the typical hard beds usually encountered in SE Asia, but instead was very comfortable for our 'soft' western bodies. The whole place was very clean. A/C, refrigerator, electric kettle and Nescafe in the rooms. At booking, we requested a quiet room, and were given just that. Slept very well. We were greeted upon arrival by Mr. Peach at the front desk, who speaks excellent English and was very helpful. We were within walking distance of shopping and restaurants, and there is a 7-11 right next door for convenience. In total, more than we had expected.

Cons: We only wish it had been closer to Suvarnabhumi Airport. 30 minute cab ride. No 'view' from the room, but we don't travel just to spend time inside hotels, so it didn't matter.

Pros: The rooms were clean with nice facilities. Also perfect to have a 7eleven right by the exit

Cons: The hotel is located right under a highway so our taxi sometimes had trouble finding the correct way. Also the area under the highway felt sketchy when it was dark.

Pros: The hotel is accessible for taxi cab, cars, motorcycles and near in train stations. Down of the bldg is 7/11 store open in 24 hrs and near in the market which we enjoyed every night the different street foods of Thailand specially the green mangoes, rambutan and mangosteen.
