A peaceful haven in Bangkok

Pros: Absolutely loved this small hotel & the location. The bed & pillows were so comfortable. The communal reception/ kitchen/ dining area was great to have and the roof terrace. All of the staff were very kind & helpful especially Alex.

Cons: A reading light near the bed or the ability to have one of the hanging lights on either side of the bed on independently. I wanted to read ( & my hysband sleep) but you could only have both lights on . A first world problem ! We would defunately stay here again.

Great price great location great staff

Pros: Location ,really friendly and welcoming staff allowed us to check in a little earlier was really appreciated after a long flight!!

Pros: The rooms are very clean .Felt like we stayed in a home .Alex and the front desk staff were so nice and willing to help .

Cons: Everything was so good .

Great value place to stay

Pros: A comfy place to rest after a busy day sightseeing. I especially liked wandering west from the property through the backstreets of the old city. And there are a number of great coffee shops and restaurants very close to the hotel.

Great place to stay in Bangkok!

Pros: Stylish and modern place, really welcoming staff. Location is good (need to get a short ferry across the river to get to Saphan Taksin BTS station), or you can walk 15 mins to Krung Thon Buri BTS station. Quiet neighbourhood, mainly locals, definitely nothing like the Khao San Road area which is full of tourists. All in all I would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Cons: Nothing :)

Pros: Great location, only a 7-minute walk to ICONSIAM. The hotel and rooms are nicely designed, with a shared kitchen and laundry available for guests. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A great place to stay — highly recommended.

A nice hotel, good location and lovely staff!

Pros: The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The place was easy to find and in a nice peaceful area but still only around a 10 minute walk to Iconsiam. A beautiful modernly renovated place overall. The room was lovely and had toiletries, a fridge and a hair dryer which was useful. There was also free tea & coffee for guest downstairs at reception. The bed was incredibly comfy and I got a good nights sleep. I would definitely recommend Varmtel and I would stay here again!

Lovely friendly and clean hotel

Pros: The hotel is really nice, a great friendly vibe - Alex at check was so helpful and accommodating especially as we wanted to make a change to one of our nights. We arrived early morning and were able to chill and nap and store our luggage and there is free coffee. I asked for a big bed and we go a really big bed. This place is great value for money, there is no breakfast - you make your own arrangements.

Cons: Nothing - just not as central as some other hotels but near the big department store Siam.

Very nice

Pros: Jason at reception was really, really helpful and very kind. He always helped us with everything when we asked. Also located right next to IconSiam (walking distance) if that’s something you are interested in. The beds are also big and comfortable.

Fab location, great value for money for Bangkok

Pros: Perfect for our stay in Bangkok. Really fab location, 5 minute walk from Iconsiam. The hotel is down a side street but as 3 women travelling we felt totally safe even late at night. Staff were fabulous.
