Golden House

Good value for money.

Pros: The location was excellent. It is close to the BTS, plenty of malls and Close to 7 eleven. It was cleaned and tidy, Good internet, air conditioning and the staff is lovely.

Cons: The toilet smells very bad, we think because of the system that they have for the sewage. So it can be uncomfortable.

Pros: The location is amazing, near the central world and the staff are all very polite with this kind of price, totally worth it.

Cons: No phone to contact the reception.

Overall not bad

Pros: Great location only a min walk to chit lom BTS station , few mins walk to Erawan Shrine and short distance to central world n big C

Cons: Should provide basic toiletries like hand soap

Extraordinary convient hotel!

Pros: 10 star 9 star 4 service, i would restay again if you looking to stay in Golden House reminder that after 10pm there won't be staff but no worries you can give them a call and they will check you in!.. +1star is how convenient the shops are. Just 10 - 15min walk and you'll reach Big C! Tips take the over head bridge much more convenient...

Pros: Good location, fully functional room, quiet building, easy check in and out.

Cons: Should pay more attention to cleaning, empty the trash from previous guests and clean the floor from hair of previous guests.

Great place to stay in Bangkok

Pros: Nice hotel, nice location, clean and friendly staff.

Cons: My only complaint was the water temperature in the shower would go from very hot to cold and then back to hot. I really needed to get into the showers rhythm to use it!

Pros: The landing time of our flight was late and exceeded the check-in time, while golden house still friendly leave us the message to check in ourselves. The location here was great.

Pros: I HAVE STAY HERE MANY YEARS! IN ONE OF THE AREAS IN CENTRAL BANGKOK. THE RAIL CHIT LOM STATION IS RIGHT OUTSIDE THE HOTEL, AGAIN CENTRAL SHOPPING DISTRICT IS RIGHT THERE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. I HAVE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL FOR OVER A DECADE. LOCATION, CLEANLINESS, SIZE OF ROOM, ATMOSPHERE. THE STAFF VERY HELPFUL IN ASSISTING YOU IN ANY AREA YOU NEED ASSISTANCE. I LIKE ROOMS.I CAN LOOKOUT SIDE THE ROOM. ALL THE ROOMS HAVE OUTSIDE VIEWS.I’VE STAYED ON THREE DIFFERENT FLOOR AND THE ROOMS HAD OUTSIDE VIEWS. BANGKOK IS A BEAUTIFUL CITY. THIS HOTEL IS EXCELLENT. SECURITY EXCELLENT! 24 HOURS A DAY. ALL AREAS HAVE CAMERAS. LAUNDRY DONE IN ONE DAY . “A PLUS!”

Cons: IT’S ALL GOOD. I’AM LAZY! NO TELEPHONE TO FRONT DESK! THAT ME!

Good if you're looking for prime location. otherwise its as the 3* standards.

Pros: The location is the prime selling point of the hotel. It's much cheaper than Intercontinental or Holiday Inn (but expensive for a 3*)

Cons: Older building in an alley that didnt give a very good impression at the start. Left key card in the power activation slot, staff went to make up room and removed the key card as well, meaning when I came back there was no power, no idea where the card was, the staff only works from 8am to 7pm thereabouts so I couldnt reach the front desk staff. Thankfully one of the masseurs from next door helped me contact someone at the hotel and i got back my card. Spotted leftover food bits near fridge (which was not plugged in and had a nasty smell once opened) that was not cleared properly. No bathroom slippers nor dental kit. (but then its a 3* i may be expecting too much) Also can still see clearly through the pixelated wall that separates bathroom and bed area. Definitely NOT for room sharing if you're on business trip.

Cozy and convenient

Pros: Good location close to Chit Lom station and Siam area. Staffs are kind and friendly. Room is maintained clean.

Cons: A little bit old. Fragrance attached to the air conditioner was not my taste.
