Lovely hotel, great pool

Pros: Beautiful hotel, with a lovely 8th floor swimming pool and club area, much needed after a day sightseeing in Bangkok. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were super friendly and allowed us to stay until 2pm as we had a evening flight. I am not sure why there are some negative comments about the breakfast, there was so much to choose from and everything was good quality. Overall a great stay and very good value for money

Cons: Music in the bar (DJ playing rap/hiphop) not to my taste, though I appreciate I am not the target audience and it wouldn't stop me from staying here again.

Pros: Staff were very polite and efficient. Everything was well presented. The bartender by the pool had very good customer service.

Stylish and comfortable hotel with excellent staff

Pros: As always, the staff were wonderful - they really are excellent. Our suite was light, bright and well appointed. The pool area is a perfect place to relax and the hotel is conveniently located for central Bangkok - near enough to be very accessible and far enough away to be relatively quiet. A stylish, comfortable and welcoming hotel that offers the personal touch that makes the difference and makes us return whenever we’re in Bangkok

Weekend in Bangkok

Pros: Very nice hotel. Big rooms, well cleaned, good amenities and very comfortable beds. Pool area is very nice.

The staff make the difference

Pros: What makes this hotel stand out are the excellent staff throughout - reception, concierge, pool, cleaning staff and breakfast team are all warm and friendly and so very helpful - exemplary! The rooms are bright, clean and well appointed with some thoughtful little extras and the breakfast selection is very good. The hotel is a stylish and yet comfortable and well located ‘home from home’ and, since first staying here, we return here regularly

Cons: Sun loungers are near to music speakers and the noise level can be intrusive - and in the dining room at breakfast time, it might be good to play similar chilled and relaxing music to that played in the hotel lift

Awesome

Pros: My stay at Silq was incredible. It’s the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Amazing beds, so comfy, I was upgraded at the reception on arrival which was amazing. The shower/bath and toilet were so lovely with a wardrobe behind sliding doors. Everything was clean. I loved the decor and the fact there is a small kitchen in the rooms and a sofa for relaxing. I am sensitive to noise and didn’t hear any noise from guests or outside. The staff are lovely and the breakfast was fantastic. The hotel has a shuttle service to the street near the closest metro. Room service was great coming back every day to a clean room and water topped up and refreshed. The staff are friendly, kind and pleasant. I would love to stay again! I didnt use the gym but it looked very modern.

Pros: Loved the onsen and the room. Very comfy. Bathroom facilities are good, especially the Jap toilet. Staff are friendly and attentive.

Cons: Hotel requires guest to book in advance for onsen use. Would be great if this can be removed to allow for more flexibility in return timing

Great hotel, rooms with best beds ever, friendly and helpful staff.

Pros: Nice comfortable rooms, great view. Beautiful bathroom in the corner studios, shower with view. Studio was well equipped, with washing Maschine & dryer. The best was the bed( mattress) We have both never slept so comfortably (just the pillows were too high for us) Good breakfast with good quality (home made granola)

Cons: Pool was too cold. Bar at the pool was somehow neglected compared to the other services of the hotel, as far as service, product and presentation is concerned.

New Year in Bangkok

Pros: Fabulous hotel in an excellent location. Staff were exceptional! Coco, the concierge, was great as he arranged an excursion for us as soon as we told him that we had been let down by our previously booked tour company. Our room was fabulous and clean. Breakfast was excellent too.
