Pros: Everything about my stay at Kimpton Maa-Lai was excellent. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are stylish and very comfortable, and the staff were genuinely warm and attentive. Great location, peaceful atmosphere, and overall an amazing experience. I would 100% stay here again.

Excellent staff and hotel

Pros: Very smart hotel with extremely helpful staff. Our room was very spacious with a nice lounge area.

Cons: Slightly away from major attractions but that can be quite nice to get out of the hectic traffic.

Everything at Kimpton is at the highest possible level – from the kindness and professionalism of the staff, to impeccable cleanliness, modern design, and outstanding food. Very few hotels manage to leave such a strong and complete impression. I honestly believe that managers of many much more famous and globally recognized hotel brands should come here, see what excellent service truly means, and learn from this hotel. Kimpton shows how luxury, warmth, and genuine care for guests can work perfectly together. I will always be happy to return to this hotel. Highest praise.

Pros: have stayed for my last 5-6 visits to BKK. can spend hours and hours in the lobby. Feels like home.

Cons: the lobby bar should stay open a little longer. sometimes one prefers to drink longer but not go to the terrace as its louder.

Great location in central Bangkok. Buzzy atmosphere but design flaws.

Pros: Great location in quiet leafy garden yet central to BKK.

Cons: The breakfast area was too crowded and only one coffee terminal to serve all breakfast is a mistake. Coffee was slow and cold. I best in another one! Also terrace area is too small given popularity, meaning waiting list for outdoor tables. Seems that many walk ins mean little space for hotel guests. A bigger terrace would make more sense.

True hospitality in a effortlessly chic setting

Pros: We celebrated our son’s 10th birthday at the Kimpton and the hotel staff went above and beyond in every way. They decorated our (amazing) room and left a handwritten birthday note with a beautiful cake. The staff at Bar.Yard in the evening also made sure our son had a special birthday dinner. Great lobby bar, chic vibe, fantastic breakfast, amazing location and some of the best hotel staff we have encountered. All around great experience and thank you to the whole team for making us feel so welcome!

Expectations exceeded for an exceptional stay in Bangkok

Pros: Extremely nice and well thought out design - down to the floorboard night light function in the room. We were provided a nice crib for our baby, as well as bathtub, soap and even a child toothbrush and toothpaste set! The gym was very well equipped and the spa was luxurious. Every restaurant was excellent 🤩 Centrally located without the hustle, bustle and noise. The location was perfect for us with a view of Lumphini park and a short shuttle ride to chit lom skyline stop and a dozen shopping malls, including Siam Paragon and CentralWorld. There’s also Velaa shopping centre just outside the hotel with a grocery store, a pharmacy, a dry cleaner, and over 20 restaurants, bars and coffee/tea shops.

Cons: The elevators seemed to skip us for reasons we don’t understand even after a weeklong stay.
