Pros: Amazing staff working there and location of the place.

Cons: Well-preserved but dated facilities (e.g., the toilet was clogged on the first day, and the AC was glitchy).

Wonderful stay, over my expec

Pros: Good location, I was upgraded and had a wonderful suite. Staff was amazing, Mr O, Bam and Pinpuk always helpful and very kind. Breakfast was good and the staff in the breakfast room very attentive and nice. Good wifi and cleaning was good. The whole stay and my experience of the hotel was the very best.

Cons: Nothing could be better.

Nice hotel in diplomatic area with gentle staff but modest kitchen

Pros: Nice building, big spaceous room and great bathroom, excellent staff (receptionists, gate boys, lift boys, bar boys, cleaning staff). Very good swimming pool and sunbeds and poolbar - excellent helpfull bar boy.

Cons: Modern but strange A/C controllers. Too small beds for a couple and insufficient blanket in such a huge appartment (70 m2) with kitchen and living room sofa. The breakfast was medium quality: even if you order the food via very nice and gentle waitress from the kitchen, some parts (potato chips, french toasts, …) are not warm but cold, vegetables are not so fresh but dry…not very wide choice of cheese nor hams nor pastries (no buns, any rolls)

A very comfortable, top end hotel to stay! We loved it!

Pros: Staff were amazing! So welcoming, helpful and had very good English. Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We took advantage of the shuttle service closer to the centre. Lots of food options near by.

Cons: Nothing!

Perfect, restfull, luxurious.

Pros: I’d like to thank the staff for accommodating our request for a quiet room. Room 2104 was extremely quiet, we couldn’t hear any noises from the other hotel guests. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, so we really did enjoy a couple of very good nights of sleep. Everything else was perfect, staff is extremely helpful and professional.

Top value for money

Pros: Oriental Residence Bangkok boasts a great location, spacious, well-equipped rooms (we stayed in one that had reportedly been recently renovated), and a pool area. The staff is exceptionally friendly and eager to cater to every request. The breakfast is somewhat unique, as it's a hybrid between a buffet and table service. It’s an excellent choice for a short stay in Bangkok!

Cons: One minor drawback: you have to order your juices (which are processed rather than fresh) from the server. It would be much better if they were self-service.

Pros: Staff was really friendly, everything was clean, we got upgraded in a better suite. Many nice restaurants in walking distance.

I’ve stayed twice and love this hotel.

Pros: Excellent hotel with outstanding staff, the room was very spacious, great views, a very comfortable bed and good A.C. The location is good next to the American Embassy, within 10 minutes walk are excellent shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and public transport. Nice pool too.

Cons: There is some road noise but it’s not that noticeable at night.

Beautiful hospitality

Pros: Beautiful rooms, very good peaceful location and the staff were wonderful

Pros: Lovely clean hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Location for Riverside was a little far out 50 minutes by taxi during the day early evening due to the volume of traffic, room on the 5th floor facing the road was noisy, road traffic, we were offered an alternative toom at the rear but declined as we only had one night remaining and couldn't be bothered to pack everything up.
