Nice hotel

Pros: Good position. Nicely decorated with a Northern Thailand theme. Staff were excellent.

Cons: Kitchenette in the suite but a lack of crockery and utensils.

A great location for exploring Bangkok

Pros: The hotel gave us a free upgrade to the penthouse apartment. We had originally booked 2 family rooms, but being all together was a lovely surprise and appreciated. The room we had was spacious, traditionally decorated and was clean. It had enough space for our family and also a small kitchen, which was useful for cooking microwave meals. The pool and gym are also on this level (the roof) so was easy for us to use the swimming pool with the kids. The location is excellent for exploring Bangkok.

Cons: The hotel is somewhat tired, but was clean and more than functional for our stay. The entrance is quite unassuming and could be easy to miss if you don't know where you're going. I can't comment on the rooms we'd expected to have, since we were upgraded to another room.

Lovely hotel, great location just let down by one silly thing!

Pros: All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is awesome 👍 The hotel is stunning, filled with antiques and quirky memorabilia, especially the dining room and conference rooms area. There is coffee and cold water available in the Lobby - which is again, a delightful area. The room was large, very clean, nicely furnished with everything you need for a pleasant stay (except 1 silly thing!). The location is excellent. Close to BTS Sala Daeng and Limphini park and a very good Irish bar walkable in 3 minutes. However, the immediate area has many good bars, restaurants and cafes.

Cons: Stupidly small, plastic vials of bathroom condiments! Really let's the whole experience down. It is long past time these ridiculous items are replaced by larger, far more convenient dispensers which - by the way, are much more cost effective for the hotel and far better for the environment. In general the bathroom needed a little tlc and maintenance.

Quaint colonial style hotel

Pros: Style of the hotel . Small but stylish roof top pool and garden. Short walk to the night market

Cons: Room needed a bit of updating. No proper bar at the hotel. Downstairs restaurant more like a cafe.

Pros: I LOVE the rooftop pool. Such a beautiful rooftop spce to enjoy a drink or a meal.

Pros: 10/10 location (nearby with night market, pubs, local restaurants, lumpini park quite big, skytrain closeby, next to silom busy area) rooftop: swimming pool, bar, fitness room ground floor: money exchange counter, restaurant & coffee shop

Cons: 8/10 facilities a bit old but acceptable (using hardwood furniture and they're old) aircon little bit noisy at max wind level

Perfect base in Bangkok before dashing off.

Big room, amazing amenities, great pool, friendly staff!

Pros: The room is so beautiful and spacious. It's old oriental Thai style decor, very lovely and well kept. Everything works and they provided bathrobe, slippers, toiletries, kettle + coffee & tea, and they clean the room everyday. Staff is always friendly and smiley, the pool on the rooftop is great. Really nice to unwind after a hot day and the trees and plants add such a tropical feel to it. Amazing location too! Overall, a great stay and will stay here again.

Cons: The card key can be tricky to use sometimes but it's nothing too troublesome.
