The Definition of Luxury and Hospitality

Pros: Amazing staff who are very thoughtful and accommodating. Beautiful room that's clean and comfortable. Super amenities! Breakfast was also excellent. I've never seen so many options for how I would like eggs prepared. Location is also great - a quick walk to Phoen Chit BTS station.

Cons: I only had time to stay one night!

Pros: First time staying here with family. Excellent hotel, really deserved to be in LUXURY family. We were treated like kings and everything what were around us- high quality. Very pleasant service ,timely provided, personnel very polite and highly trained. Location required no remarks- in the center of privileged area,packed with shopping malls and restaurants of high rates. The rooms allocated to our family were on 22nd floor offering fantastic view and comfort. Morning and night buffets at the main restaurant were delicious - many choices from around the world. Very pleasant and relaxed stay. .

Overall a very nice stay!

Pros: Overall a very nice hotel and stay! Personnel was friendly, our room was very clean and nice. Bed was also comfortable, and breakfast was very good as well. Pool area was also very good. We booked the room with the city view and it lived up to our expectations. One big bonus is that it is close to the train station (Phloen Chit), which was very practical.

Cons: During the check-in, my VISA debit card (Revolut) was not accepted for the deposit payment (there were enough funds in the card so money was not the problem) even though this was never an issue in any hotel or online payment. After clarification, I was informed by Revolut that this is due to the fact that the hotel's system processes the payment as magnetic stripe payment. So this is an issue that needs to be resolved by the hotel in my opinion, considering the price we paid and status of the hotel. We had to pay the deposit by cash, which was unfortunate for us.

Pros: Great Hotel with lovely staff, nice pool area, nice restaurants

Cons: Unfortunately the pool area was closed on out „relax“ day due to an event besides that everything was great

Value for money

Pros: I enjoyed the daily buffet break, delicious food and great service,I love Thailand food,I had black Thai rice daily for breakfast,fresh juice was delicious too

Cons: The lunchtime food was very expensive 😩😩😩😩,we need better coffee station,crockery doesn’t match the hotel standard,31st gifts for guests need to more nicer and represent the hotel

Excellent hotel with wonderful staff

Pros: Staff throughput the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly especially in the club lounge. Good location with easy walking distance to local attractions. Arrived early but room was ready for us right away. Great pool area had no problems getting a sun bed and pool staff made sure you stayed well hydrated throughout the day

Fabulous hotel

Pros: This hotel is amazing. Staff are fabulous, every single one of them, from the cleaners right up to the managers and they are all treated the same, all respected. I love visiting this hotel. Food is very good, facilities are great. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

Cons: There is nothing to dislike.

A dream honeymoon

Pros: We chose the Athenee Bangkok as our accommodation for our honeymoon. It did not disappointment, and exceeded our expectations. From the food, the room and the pool - the attention to detail was incredible. The place was lovingly decorated for Christmas, so the festive vibe was in the air. It was the staff however that made our stay memorable. Everyone was so kind and willing to assist us at every turn. Greeting us as we arrived and left - always smiling. The staff truly were what made the Athenee stand out. We hope to visit again soon. Thank you for making our honeymoon special. Ps the decorations for our welcoming night were adorable <3

Cons: Nothing bad because I loved everything

It was a great stay, albeit a short one since I went for my conference

Pros: Clean, modern with Thai charms. Good amenities. The staffs are approachable, helpful. Special mention is Mr Jirawat ( bellboy). Really tried out of his way to accommodate our requests. And he delivers them. He’s your asset ☺️. Attached is his photo

Good stay at The Athenee

Pros: The comfort from the hotel is outstanding, just like being at home. The breakfast was fascinating, especially the juice bar where guests can order fresh fruit juices. The linen is prime quality and the room is soundproofed. So, if you come to rest, The Athenee is a great place to stay. One more advantage: it is near Central Embassy, a mall where it is possible to change money.

Cons: There was a misunderstanding when trying to set the bill on our arrival. The hotel did not accept debit cards, just credit cards. However, they didn't convey that information to us. After charging us our debit card, they said the hotel cannot retain the payment, but it was already debited from our account. Furthermore, the receptionist said our money would be refunded in one month... At the end we sorted out how to set the bill, but it would have been great if the hotel staff could explain better all the guest's options.
